Hi there, I’m Ben. I started my fitness journey back in college in 2008. I vividly remember feeling intimidated on my first day at the gym, unsure of what to do or how to use the machines. It was a lot to take in, and I was hesitant to ask for help.
To overcome this, I decided to educate myself. I began purchasing books like The Body Sculpting Bible for Men and Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, and actively engaged in online fitness forums. Through self-learning, I gained knowledge about different muscle groups, proper exercise form, and the importance of nutrition.
Not only did I dive into bodybuilding, but I also explored other disciplines such as CrossFit, calisthenics, yoga, and powerlifting. I even had the opportunity to attend a powerlifting competition.
While bodybuilding remains my primary focus, I strongly believe that fitness should be approached holistically and should incorporate an element of fun. Many people dedicate themselves to intense workouts but forget to enjoy the process and try new things.
